JOLIET, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mahoney Environmental, a leading recycler of cooking oil for over 60 years, has named Timothy J. Zak as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, effective immediately. In his role, Zak will be responsible for growing the company’s business, increasing its revenues, volumes and margins.

In his career, he has worked effectively with national and regional customers at a number of firms including companies in the foodservice industry. He has a broad perspective of customer expectations that I am confident will serve us well.”
Before joining Mahoney, Zak had held senior management positions at W.W. Grainger. He joined that company as director of Corporate Sales before becoming Regional Vice President of its Midwest Region. Earlier he held executive sales and marketing positions at International Multifoods and Alliant Foodservice.
Zak earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He is a resident of Aurora.
