Eaton Names Bonnie K. Smith Senior Vice President, Information Technology, Industrial Sector

CLEVELAND--()--Bonnie K. Smith has been named senior vice president, Information Technology, for Eaton’s Industrial Sector. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, Smith will report directly to Craig Arnold, vice chairman and chief operating officer, Industrial Sector. In this role, Smith will ensure that the Industrial Sector Information Technology organization drives investment and delivers solutions to improve manufacturing, engineering, customer relationship management and business intelligence.

Smith most recently served as vice president, Information Technology, for Thermo Fisher Scientific, Customer Channels (aka Fisher Scientific). Prior to this, she worked for Abbott, McKinsey & Company, Whirlpool and DuPont in a variety of Information Technology positions of increasing global responsibility.

Smith has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Indiana University in Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in business administration with concentrations in international business and economics from the University of Chicago in Illinois.
