Kevin Beard Named Executive Vice President, Recruiting and Acquisition Strategy, Advisor Group

Newly Created Role Focuses on Acquisitions of at Least $5 Million GDC

NEW YORK--()--Advisor Group, one of the largest independent broker-dealer networks in the nation, today announced that Kevin Beard will serve as Executive Vice President, Recruiting and Acquisition Strategy. Beard most recently served as Senior Vice President of Recruiting for Royal Alliance and recruited over $60 million since he began working with the firm.

In his newly created position Beard will be responsible for leading, designing and developing the recruiting strategy for Advisor Group. He will also develop and promote programs to recruit new OSJ managers as well as new representatives for existing offices.

Prior to joining Royal Alliance in 2009, Beard served as Regional Director at Rehmann Group, where he was responsible for recruiting and acquisition of wealth management firms. In 2007, Beard co-founded Innovative Advanced Resources, a company that assisted high net-worth advisors, registered investment advisors and asset managers with their distribution needs. From 2001-2007, he was Senior Field Vice President for Pacific Select Group. He attended Kent State University and holds Series 7, 24 and insurance licenses.
