Mr. Hertzman joined AFG in 1991 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in the area of financial reporting over his 23-year tenure. Since April 2012, he has served as Assistant Vice President and Controller of the Company with responsibility for financial reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission and establishing GAAP accounting policies.
Mr. Hertzman holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Cincinnati, a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Xavier University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Ohio. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Ohio Society of CPAs and Financial Executives International.
