Former CACI, Alion, SAIC Exec James D. Gillie Brings Performance and Operations Management Expertise to Telos Corporation

New Vice President, Deputy General Manager of Cyber Operations and Defense to Drive Business Efficiencies and Growth

ASHBURN, Va.--()--James D. Gillie has joined Telos Corporation as the company’s vice president and deputy general manager of cyber operations and defense. In his new role, Mr. Gillie is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to meet corporate growth goals.

“Jim brings a wealth of business development expertise and in-depth insight into the federal technology market,” said Senior Vice President and General Manager for Cyber Operations and Defense Brendan Malloy. “His solid background in finance, process and system development, organizational change and other operational areas uniquely qualify him to strengthen our leadership during our current growth phase.”

Mr. Gillie comes to Telos after four years with CACI International, where he was vice president of business operations for their $600M intelligence business group. His leadership led to the implementation of new processes that increased operational effectiveness and organizational efficiency, and expanded expertise of program management operations. As vice president and director of corporate projects at Alion Science and Technology for the four years prior, working directly for the chief operating officer Mr. Gillie designed and implemented an enterprise document management and workflow system that improved forecasting, contract management processes and corporate level reporting.

Beginning his career as a project management analyst, Mr. Gillie spent over a dozen years with Science Applications International Corp (SAIC), moving through the ranks to become vice president and sector project control director.

Mr. Gillie holds a bachelor of science in business administration with a double concentration in finance and marketing from Florida Southern College.
