LANDOVER, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Civergy, Inc. is pleased to announce that Mark H. Owen, Brigadier General, USAF, retired, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer as of March 2014.
General Owen’s primary focus will be to lead the functional integration of the Civergy family of companies, as they move towards building an organization that provides a range of critical services and indispensable products — from cybersecurity to energy security, business intelligence to engineering solutions, and alternative transportation to creative workflow management and complete management services.
General Owen joined New West Technologies, acquired by Civergy this January, as an Executive Vice President leading strategic expansion and GEITA (Global Engineering, Integration & Technical Assistance) implementation a year ago. A Legion of Merit awardee, General Owen has, in the past, been responsible for developing the nation’s strategic war plan and contingency plans for global strike missions as Director of Plans and Policy, US Strategic Command at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. Following his retirement from the US Air Force, he held roles with Northrup Grumman, Booz Allen Hamilton and National Securities Technologies, LLC.
