STRATFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kitchen Brains® today announced its continued global expansion plans into Latin America with the opening of its Product Development and Engineering Center in Florida. The Center is part of CEO Timothy Lane’s ambitious growth strategy that includes building distribution capabilities and bringing value-added solutions to new markets and food service partners.
To support this growth initiative and develop the virtually untapped market, Tim Lane named food service industry veteran Carlos C. Tunnermann as Director of Business Development for Latin America. Mr. Tunnermann will report directly to Reza Khani, Kitchen Brains COO.

Tunnermann has experience in business management and development and has worked with many successful companies such as Sony Latin America, Samsung Electronics Latinoamerica, Hyundai Power and Energy Services, and most recently was the General (Country) Manager for 11 Pizza Hut locations and a TGI Friday’s in Nicaragua. He has a Master of Engineering Administration from The George Washington University and a Master of Science in International Administration from Central Michigan University.
