JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Community Management Concepts of Jacksonville, Inc., an Associa company, will be representing two communities named as finalists for the Florida Communities of Excellence Award. The finalists include:
- Heritage Park
- The Overlook at Baymeadows
Heritage Park is an expansive, prestigious community made up of more than 700 single-family homes. It is located in historic St. Augustine. The community is nominated in the Family Friendly Programs & Initiatives (Large Community) category. Some popular neighborhood activities include ice cream socials, yoga classes in the state-of-the-art fitness center, the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Costume Contest & Party, and the Holiday Light Display Contest.
CMC Jacksonville’s other finalist is The Overlook at Baymeadows. This community is a gorgeous 300 unit condominium community located right in the heart of Jacksonville, in the Deerwood/Southside area. Last year The Overlook won the Communities of Excellence award in the category of Safety and Security and this year it is a finalist for Disaster Preparedness Initiatives (Small Community). The newly created disaster preparedness plan guide provides residents information on personal preparedness with recommended checklist items, approaches on physically protecting their personal property, and addresses procedures in the event of hurricanes, tornados, fire damage, and severe storm wind damages. Vaida Silvia, community association manager at CMC Jacksonville will also receive the Manager of Excellence award for submitting a community that has been a finalist in multiple categories in consecutive years.
