TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NEXON Co., LTD. (“Nexon”)(3659.TO), a worldwide leader in free-to-play online games, today announced it has launched the full 3D massively multi-play online role playing game (“MMORPG”) Legion of Heroes in Korea.
Developed and serviced by Nexon subsidiary NDOORS Corporation (“NDOORS”), the studio behind hit strategy games Atlantica and Epic of the Three Kingdoms, Legion of Heroes is an epic tale of heroes who have set off to foil the Sovereign of Darkness Rideran's scheme to plunge the world into chaos. Players encounter a variety of heroes on their journey, with whom they can combine forces to accomplish their quest.
Powered by the Unity engine, Legion of Heroes features stunning full 3D graphics with a rich fantasy storyline, turn-based attack sequences and multiple camera angles from which to choose. Players can enhance and upgrade their heroes and equipment using treasure collected throughout their adventures, and can create and join guilds with other players. Players can select hero battle and coliseum modes. Hero battle mode pits users against each other in player versus player (PVP) battles where they can use up to 15 heroes to battle for their opponent’s gold. Coliseum mode features strategic PVP battles where players are matched up to battle regardless of their ability level. Legion of Heroes also features the “Tower of Chaos” where up to four players can join forces using 12 heroes in a room-by-room fight through the tower.
