QlikTech Ranked Number One in KLAS Report, “Healthcare Analytics: Making Sense of the Puzzle Pieces”

Top vendor rated for money’s worth beats other ranked vendors in overall satisfaction and ease of use with 100 percent indicating they would purchase QlikView again

RADNOR, Pa.--()--QlikTech, (NASDAQ: QLIK), a leader in user-driven Business Intelligence (BI), today announced that it has secured the highest overall ranking among enterprise BI and analytics vendors according to the “Healthcare Analytics: Making Sense of the Puzzle Pieces”1 report published by KLAS, a research firm specializing in monitoring and reporting healthcare vendor performance. QlikTech’s overall ranking and rating is based on direct feedback from healthcare providers who have used the QlikView Business Discovery platform across their enterprise and measures software performance in areas such as product quality, implementation, and support.

With an overall rating of 85.7, QlikTech was noted for visual data discovery and ranked highest among other ranked vendors in areas such as overall satisfaction and ease of use. One customer reported that “It is easy to ingest the information in QlikView, and the data doesn’t have to be modeled and designed to the degree that the data in MicroStrategy and BusinessObjects does to provide insight.” Another customer said, “A key highlight of QlikView is that the users love it. I owe quite a substantial amount of the success of what we have been doing with business intelligence so far to the user adoption of QlikView. Essentially, after a few minutes, very nontechnical people can use QlikView, and they love using it.”

QlikTech also exceeded its competitors in key performance ratings for quality of training, product response time, delivery of new technology, and lives up to expectations. Among those ranked, it is the highest vendor ranked for money’s worth. Additionally, 100 percent of clients surveyed indicate that they would purchase QlikView again and that service and support “keeps promises”. According to a VP of a large health system, “… QlikView’s in-memory capabilities and nearly best-in-class visualization together offer an end-user experience we have been unable to duplicate with other tools. Our user satisfaction is very high. This is the best experience we have had with a BI product.”

QlikTech’s history of growth in the self-service BI category continues as public and private healthcare providers seek alternatives to traditional software solutions that take too long to solve their Big Data problems. This inability to efficiently access, aggregate, and explore data contributes to mounting financial strains, patient wait times, resource constraints, and vulnerability to medical errors. In addition, the public demands transparency and the industry is shifting to Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM), Pay for Performance (P4P), Diagnosis-Related Groups (DRG) and Consumer-Directed Health Plans (CDHP).

Over these years of continued innovation and changing the face of BI, QlikTech maintains its commitment to become the de facto global standard for how people naturally gain insight from their data. Through QlikView’s powerful, accessible Business Discovery solution, more than 1,000 healthcare providers spanning hospitals, nursing and residential care facilities, and ambulatory services worldwide have turned to QlikView to overcome business intelligence challenges and improve performance.

“We believe that achieving this number one ranking confirms that healthcare providers are appreciating the need to create a culture of data driven decision-making with the ultimate goals of improving patient care, patient satisfaction, and clinical and operational efficiency,” said Ellen Derrico, Director Global Market Development, Life Sciences & Healthcare at QlikTech. “This recognition by KLAS is a testament to the healthcare providers worldwide that have turned to QlikView to overcome their information challenges and improve their organizational performance.”
