LOS ANGELES--()--Grammy-nominated band OneRepublic will perform live at PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2014, from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, Wednesday, January 8, 2014, airing on the CBS Television Network (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT). OneRepublic will join the lineup with newly announced performer, Sara Bareilles at this year’s awards show where they are also nominated for a People’s Choice Award in the category of Favorite Group. The People’s Choice Awards is the only major awards show where fans determine the nominees and winners across categories of movies, music and television.

“OneRepublic is one of the hottest bands out there today and we are excited that they are going to perform for us on the People’s Choice Awards,” said producer Mark Burnett. “I am personally a huge fan of the band and I am also working with Ryan Tedder on The Voice so it’s all OneRepublic all the time and we are thrilled they agreed to come on board for the show.”

OneRepublic took the world by storm in 2007 with their debut release Dreaming Out Loud. The album included the smash single and 2009 People’s Choice Award nominee for Favorite Rock Song, “Apologize,” which shattered digital sales and airplay records worldwide and, along with second single “Stop And Stare,” propelled the album to platinum-plus sales and a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. OneRepublic released their sophomore set Waking Up in 2009 and the band saw three singles – “All The Right Moves,” “Secrets,” and “Good Life” – top the radio charts.

OneRepublic released their third studio album Native March 26th where it debuted at #4 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. The set includes hits “If I Lose Myself,” “Feel Again” and new single “Counting Stars,” which is a #3 at Top 40 radio this week. OneRepublic has toured the world, headlining dates in the U.S. and Europe and opening for Bon Jovi and U2.

People’s Choice announced last week that fans have cast over half a billion votes thus far for People’s Choice Awards 2014. Voting has closed for most categories, but will remain open for Favorite New TV Comedy, Favorite New TV Drama and Favorite Music Fan Following until night of show.

Throughout the 40-year history of the People’s Choice Awards, beginning with Cher’s presentation of the very first award to All In The Family in 1975, some of Hollywood’s most popular actors, musicians, movies and television shows have been named the People’s Choice by the fans. Robin Williams, Neil Patrick Harris, Sandra Bullock and Michael J. Fox are all repeat nominees who celebrated their first PCA wins in 1975, 1990, 1996 and 1997, respectively.
