DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Employees at The Container Store®, got wrap happy “dressing” holiday window displays in three stores – Century City (Los Angeles), 6th Avenue (New York City) and Lexington Avenue (New York City). The retailer, known for its unique workplace culture, invited employees to design and create festive fashions to showcase wrap, ribbons and trimmings from The Container Store’s Gift Wrap Wonderland.
“This has been such a fun opportunity to share with our store teams. We’re consistently delighted and amazed by the creativity that comes from our employees,” said Peggy Doughty, Vice President of Visual Merchandising. “One of our Foundation Principles is Air of Excitement, and this is just another example of our employees contributing to that! It gives our customers a little smile and inspiration as they shop with us this holiday season.”

Many of the employee fashions will walk the runway in Dallas during the home office Holiday Party on December 18th from 2-4 p.m. The Gift Wrap Wonderland Fashion Show began last year as part of retailer’s holiday celebrations and was a huge success with the employee designers and audience, alike.
The Container Store’s Gift Wrap Wonderland is the world’s most celebrated collection of gift wrap, ribbons, bows, totes, tie-ons and boxes. The retailer firmly believes that a beautifully wrapped package is just as special as the gift itself and even offers in-store Gift Wrap and Bow Demonstrations to share their expert wrapping and bow-making tips and tricks with customers. Demonstrations occur in stores every Saturday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and every Sunday at noon and 2 p.m., through December 22nd.
