IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Flatirons Solutions, provider of the TechSight/X® suite of technical information management software for the aerospace and aviation industry, has teamed with AerData, a provider of electronic records management software, to further its mission to help aircraft operators, maintenance, repair, and overhaul organizations (MROs), and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) adopt electronic solutions for aircraft maintenance so they can reduce dependence on paper-based systems.
The agreement will deliver the first paperless aircraft maintenance environment through the integration of the TechSight/X electronic Job Cards and Visit / Work Package solution with AerData’s STREAM records management solution.
By managing the entire aviation service lifecycle electronically (from OEM source, through aircraft operations, to and from MRO facilities, as well as pooling and ultimately to lease returns), the paperless solution for job cards and records management makes engineers and mechanics more productive, increases dispatch rates, reduces heavy maintenance span time, and helps to ensure real-time airworthiness compliance.
