Artfact is Now “Invaluable” Following Re-Branding Efforts

Re-branding Effort Focuses on Invaluable’s Brand Promise to Connect People to the Art, Antiquities and Collectibles Which Fuel Their Passion

BOSTON--()--Today, Artfact, the world’s largest online live auction marketplace, announced that it is re-branding the company as Invaluable. Effective on Nov. 21, 2013, Artfact transitions to Invaluable with an enhanced online experience and new features for consumers to easily find items they want to bid on, resulting in increased exposure to thousands of upcoming sales by Invaluable’s auction house partners.

With 195 percent year-on-year sales growth in 2013, Artfact saw a clear opportunity to re-position its brand to a broad audience with an enhanced message focused on the company’s true brand promise. While the Artfact brand has long been important in communicating the company’s industry-leading art and collectible auction database, Invaluable is inclusive of the breadth and depth of items sold through the company’s live auction online bidding platform. With this re-brand, Invaluable continues to maintain world-class customer support and technical innovation to meet the demands of an evolving auction industry.

In conjunction with the re-brand efforts, Invaluable has launched a new homepage with features designed to encourage increased online bidding. The premium design provides an enhanced user experience focused on larger images in lot details, catalog and search results pages. One key feature being introduced is new category browsing functionality to assist bidders in finding the items they are most passionate about as well as popular categories.

“The Invaluable brand speaks to the emotional connection our community of collectors and dealers have with the items they are most passionate about,” said Rob Weisberg, CEO of Invaluable. “Through this re-brand effort, we are confident that the new Invaluable brand will speak to the transcendent power and passion that our customers have for the industry and that we have in helping to evolve the live auction marketplace.”

“With Freeman’s American Art & Pennsylvania Impressionists auction on December 8th, the new Invaluable site will offer a user-friendly and engaging experience to our buyers online. This tech-savvy audience is an important segment of Freeman’s regular participants and has accounted for up to 70 percent of bidders during past auctions,” said Thomas B. McCabe IV, vice president business development and web director at Freeman’s.
