CCSi Awarded VA Contract for Prosthetic Inventory Management Support

Health Services team to strengthen VA’s prosthetic patch 101 program, reduce costs and minimize risk of shortages to enhance quality of care for veterans

ROCKVILLE, Md.--()--Creative Computing Solutions, Inc. (CCSi), a leading provider of program and project management services, health services, cybersecurity services, and enterprise systems engineering to the federal government, today announced it has been awarded a contract to provide management technical services for the Prosthetics Patch 101 Program. The contract is CCSi’s second task order awarded under the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology (T4) Program contract and has a six-month period of performance.

The Prosthetics Patch 101 Program will improve the VA’s oversight and management of prosthetic purchasing and inventory management to better utilize resources. By strengthening internal controls, the VA will reduce costs and minimize risks of prosthetic supply shortages, which in turn will improve the quality of care for veterans. Additionally, the program will modify the existing Prosthetics Inventory Package (PIP) and Prosthetics VistA Suite (PVS) to support an interface between the two applications.

“We are very pleased to have been selected for this new contract and look forward to continuing our work to support the VA,” said Maggie Bauer, Senior Vice President, Health Services at CCSi. “CCSi is well versed in the standards and processes employed by the VA Office of Information & Technology (OIT) Health Administration Product Enhancements (HAPE) Portfolio, which means that we will make significant contributions to the project from the very first day of performance.”

Under the terms of the contract, CCSi will guide the project team through the development and deployment lifecycle to help the VA to field this necessary enhancement. Specifically, the company will provide project management, document and change management, meeting and communications support, program management accountability system (PMAS) support, create and maintain the integrated master schedule (IMS), and provide risk management support.

CCSi is one of only 15 contractors awarded the VA T4 contract. This innovative IDIQ, multiple-award contract is designed to transform the VA’s information technology programs. To learn more about CCSi’s capabilities and services under the T4 contract, please visit: http://www.ccsin.com/VA-T4.asp.
