LAKE FOREST, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Reynolds Consumer Products announces the acquisition of the domestic operations of Trans Western Polymers Inc., which will be combined with Reynolds’ Presto Products subsidiary to bring together private label trash bag operations. Both companies are manufacturers of quality store brand products that supply national retailers. In the U.S., Trans Western Polymers is a supplier of trash bags, while Presto provides trash bags in addition to private label food bags and disposable containers.
The companies are combining to leverage scale, balance manufacturing footprint, improve distribution efficiencies, and gain additional capacity in waste bags. These combined resources will result in continued quality and service to support the continued growth prospects for this market segment.
