NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On the heels of launching its much anticipated Gramercy Park offices, TOWN Residential continues its trend of announcing and executing its unprecedented expansion and takeover of Downtown in twos by moving into the heart of the world renowned Meatpacking District. The new office retains the name TOWN West Village and is triple the size of TOWN’s former West Village office that was housed in a townhouse on Horatio Street.
TOWN West Village, now at 446 West 14th Street, is prominently located at the foot of the über-popular High Line Park, across the street from Jeffrey’s department store and amongst a host of other prominent luxury international fashion brands, hotels and hot spots, including Diane von Furstenberg, Stella McCartney, the Standard Hotel, the Soho House, and The Whitney Museum of American Art. TOWN is the only residential firm in the area, just one block from the Chelsea Market and the East Coast Google Headquarters.
“TOWN continues to reinforce our best in class standing with this newest office because the neighborhood is an attraction to fashionistas and tastemakers from all over the world,” Andrew Heiberger, Founder and CEO of TOWN Residential said. “Our presence here enables TOWN to fully integrate our culture with the world’s other top brands.”
The new office is perfectly centered in the middle of Manhattan’s only 'horizontal neighborhood' which spans all the way from Tribeca through West Soho, Hudson Square, the West Village, Chelsea, and Upper Chelsea ending in Hudson Yards. TOWN Representatives will be able to use the High Line to walk clients to view properties, or to access the Westside Highway uptown or downtown, and 14th Street towards Greenwich Village, the Flatiron District and Madison Square Park.
TOWN West Village features a 4,000 square foot outdoor space, to be called TOWN Rooftop, which will be fully furnished, and will serve as Manhattan’s first outdoor real estate office complete with WiFi. The private roof deck with elevator access will be where Representatives, clients, and customers can work and meet while taking in spectacular views. The entire office property can accommodate 65 Representatives, with a selection of highly coveted private offices for top producers and most promising new team members.
“This office and neighborhood exudes positive energy during the day and night, and will encourage our Representatives who work here to be present in the office, which bucks the current industry trend of other real estate firms encouraging their brokers to work virtually,” Heiberger continued.
“The Meatpacking is by far one of the most exciting areas in New York right now, especially for downtown,” says real estate rock star Clayton Orrigo, TOWN Representative and Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, who will office there. “A big part of that is due to incredible retail. The area is now drawing in brands with a cult following like Rapha and Warby Parker.”
“This opening marks the completion of phase two of our multi-faceted business plan, which was laid out at TOWN’s inception,” said Heiberger. “It gives me great satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment to have achieved what I set out to do. Furthermore, now that we have completed phase two of our expansion, I am going to be hyper focused internally on our operations, controls, and infrastructure.”
“Our offices were full and we have outgrown them, which has prompted the move from Horatio to the Meatpacking District,” McCarthy said. “I am thrilled to say that we are over 75% occupied on our first day.” McCarthy continues, “This is the best opportunity of my career, and together with Kristin Thomas, Wendy Maitland, and the rest of the TOWN team, I am confident that we will enjoy our greatest success yet.”
“TOWN has experienced great success in the last three years. This move is the perfect crescendo to mark our third anniversary,” Heiberger added.
“I always say New York Real Estate is all about location...and so is this new TOWN office,” said Representative and Licensed Real Estate Salesperson Andrew Azoulay, also working at TOWN West Village, and sharing an office with Mitch Cashwell, another superstar industry veteran. Azoulay, whose clients include Kevin Garnett, Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, and Paul Pierce, continued, “There is nowhere else I’d rather be than smack in the middle of Meatpacking District every day...is there a better place to get a pulse on the downtown market?”
