PLANO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NTT DATA, Inc., a leading IT services provider, announced today that it has been selected by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) to deploy its Optimum SuiteTM of products in a partnership with CGI Group, Inc. NTT DATA’s comprehensive solutions provide OMH with sophisticated patient access and scheduling technologies to integrate into the newly created Electronic Health Record (EHR).
OMH is one of the nation’s largest healthcare delivery organizations, with dozens of facilities across New York State. NTT DATA’s Healthcare Technologies help hundreds of hospitals and thousands of care facilities across the United States deliver better care. This multi-year software and support contract covers all New York State inpatient psychiatric facilities and outpatient clinics, which serve more than 695,000 individuals each year across the state of New York. In addition, NTT DATA will provide consulting, implementation, and training services as part of the deployment effort working with CGI. With the selection of OptimumTM, OMH benefits from enterprise-wide applications for intake, scheduling, registration, and bed management.
NTT DATA’s powerful Optimum tools will provide OMH with an adaptable, browser-based solution that manages admitting, discharge, and transfer (ADT) functions. Additionally, the Enterprise Scheduling system streamlines the scheduling and pre-registration process, helping to improve operational efficiencies and patient throughput while enhancing staff utilization.
