MCMINNVILLE, Tenn.--()--Sadhguru J. Vasudev will tour the United States, September 20 – October 20, for a month that will include multiple public and private events, including a day-long celebration of International Peace Day at the Isha Foundation headquarters in McMinnville, Tenn. on September 21.

Humanitarian, master chef, author, golfer, adventurer. Equally at home trekking barefoot through the Himalayas or riding a motorcycle, playing soccer or teaching yoga to thousands, Sadhguru J. Vasudev is a contemporary mystic rooted as strongly in worldly and pragmatic matters as he is in inner experience and wisdom. His Huffington Posts cover topics that include work life balance; building better corporate citizenship and healthier companies; being a better athlete; cultivating meaningful relationships; and how to make this planet a better place to live.

Sadhguru’s perspective seems timeless, yet he brings absolute clarity to modern life. His personal journey through Syria has shaped his thoughts on today’s international affairs. He sees a future guided by business leaders with the capacity to make countries grow. Recalibrating our emotions of competition, fear and anger, he says, could unlock greater potential in athletes, and relieve combat veterans of the burdens they carry.

Named one of India’s 50 most influential people, he has addressed prominent global forums from Davos to TED on issues as diverse as socio-economic development, corporate responsibility, leadership and spirituality, and has served as delegate to the United Nations Millennium Peace Summit and the World Peace Congress.

Interviewed by The New York Times, BBC, Bloomberg, CNNI and CNBC, Sadhguru is the author of over 50 books, the subject of four books and co-author of the Amazon bestseller “Midnights with the Mystic.” His public talks frequently draw crowds of over 300,000 people.
