Iron Bow Technologies Now Ready to Deliver on U.S. Air Force NETCENTS-2 Contract

ID/IQ contract has an estimated value of $6.9B over six years

CHANTILLY, Va.--()--Iron Bow Technologies LLC, an information technology solutions provider, announced today that the U.S. Air Force has cancelled the stop work order on the NETCENTS-2 Products contract and the company is now able to deliver IT solutions immediately. This Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract enables the Air Force to purchase advanced IT products needed for our nation’s joint warfighters.

The contract has an estimated value of $6.9 billion with a three year base period of performance from the award date, and three additional one year option periods. The NETCENTS-2 contract will enable the Air Force to acquire a wide range of standard, interoperable IT products, including: networking equipment, servers and storage solutions, software (not included on other enterprise licenses) and identity management and biometric hardware with associated software.

“We are pleased that the Air Force has awarded Iron Bow the contract and we now stand ready to deliver innovative technology solutions to forward their mission,” said Rene LaVigne, President and CEO of Iron Bow Technologies. “The NETCENTS-2 contract award will enable Iron Bow to continue providing the best-of-breed IT necessary to ensure success across the wide spectrum of Air Force operations.”

The original NETCENTS contract vehicle was awarded in 2004 and expires in September 2013. In addition to providing increased opportunities for small businesses, NETCENTS-2 is intended to help effectively integrate the disparate, incompatible IT infrastructures found across the Air Force. The contract is also expected to bring all IT systems into full compliance with the Air Force’s enterprise cyberspace architecture.
