FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Daifuku Webb Holding Company (Daifuku Webb), a subsidiary of Daifuku Co., Ltd., and Wynright Corporation (Wynright) announced today that they have reached a definitive agreement for Daifuku Webb to acquire privately-owned Wynright. Under the agreement, Wynright will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daifuku Webb. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2013. Wynright is a U.S.-based provider of intelligent material handling systems, including leading-edge conveyor and sortation systems, voice- and light-directed order fulfillment technology, a suite of warehouse controls and execution software, robotics, mezzanines, and structures.

The acquisition of Wynright fits into Daifuku’s new corporate management plan, Value Innovation 2017, which started in April 2013.
