Hospitals, Healthcare Providers to Benefit from New Premier Agreements for Drug/Non-Drug Eluting Coronary Stents, Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiology Products

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--()--The Premier healthcare alliance has awarded new agreements for drug eluting coronary stents, non-drug eluting coronary stents and diagnostic and interventional cardiology products.

Suppliers being awarded for drug eluting coronary stents, non-drug eluting coronary stents and diagnostic and interventional cardiology products include: Abbott Laboratories Inc., Abbott Vascular Division of Alpharetta, Ga.; Boston Scientific Company of Natick, Mass.; and Medtronic Inc., of Minneapolis.

Suppliers being awarded for diagnostic and interventional cardiology products include: Arrow International Inc., of Reading Penn.; Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. of Piscataway, N.J.; Merit Medical Systems Inc., of South Jordan, Utah; Oscor Inc., of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and St. Jude Medical of Saint Paul, Minn.

Effective July 1, 2013, the agreements are available to acute care and continuum of care members of Premier. Johnson & Johnson is available to acute care and surgery center members of Premier.
