Senior systems engineer Robert Davies expands Hardware.com’s capabilities in computer, VM, application, and storage solutions

MINNEAPOLIS--()--The U.S. division of Hardware.com, a global leader in networking hardware, architectures, procurement, and support, announced today the addition of senior systems engineer Robert Davies to help further enhance the company’s high-end networking and infrastructure capabilities. An expert in IT storage, computer, virtual machine (VM), and application, Davies joins Hardware.com’s team of highly accredited engineers to offer customers reliable, efficient, and cost-effective network solutions that best fit customers’ needs.

With more than 10 years’ experience, Davies’ responsibilities center on architecting next generation data centers with a primary focus on server, storage, and virtualization. Prior to joining Hardware.com, Davies was an Information Systems (IS) Tech Services Specialist 3 for Ramsey County Information Services in St. Paul, Minn., where he led the implementation of a virtual server infrastructure to help manage the company’s growing needs. Prior to that, Davies served as an IS SR LAN Specialist for Ramsey County Property Records and Revenue, where he designed, purchased, configured, and deployed the company’s first physical and virtual servers in the business technology department. Earlier in his career, he worked as a consultant for TEKsystems.

Davies holds a diploma in Network and Communications Technology – Computer Applications from the CompuCollege School of Business in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He also holds multiple industry certifications, including: VMware – VTSP, Microsoft – MCSA, MCP, Dell Server, Dell Storage, Network+, A+ and other industry accreditations.
