  • Named one of North America’s Top 100 Events by the American Bus Association and World Festival and Event City by the International Festivals and Events Association, the Dublin Irish Festival offers guests the opportunity to experience authentic Irish dance and discover the best of Irish music, food, sports, and culture without the cost of traveling to Ireland.
  • Value priced at only $10 per ticket, or a weekend pass for $21, more than 100,000 guests are expected to attend. Purchase Ticket and Token Packages or discount tickets now in advance; children 12 and under are free.
  • Back by popular demand is the Irish Authors’ Corner featuring twelve Irish-American authors showcasing more than 20 books. All works will represent the Festival’s cultural theme for 2013, “Saints, Sinners and Scholars.” For more information, view a list of cultural activities.

  • New for 2013, the Festival will kick off the Kid’s Highland Games. A Highland Games adult athlete will be on hand to explain the history, demonstrate techniques and answer questions for the youngest of participants. For more information, view a list of Sports Activities.
  • Animal lover? The Dublin Irish Festival will host all eight breeds of “paddy pups” in our Pet Palace Celtic Canines area. Guests can watch grooming and training demonstrations, or learn about the history of these Irish breeds.
  • Celtic goods are available in every direction at the Festival with more than 85 vendors.
  • Bring your lads and lassies to create Irish-inspired crafts, attend a dance lesson, or bounce the day away in the Wendy’s Wee Folk Area and the Pot O’ Gold Playland.

  • Strap on your running shoes and kick off the event at the annual IGS Energy/Dublin Irish Festival 5K and Kids Dash on Thursday, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. More than 1,200 runners are expected to take to the streets to celebrate the start of the Festival.
  • Join us after the 5K and Kids Dash for the annual Dub Crawl in Historic Dublin. Shops, restaurants and pubs will be lively with street-side music and dance to celebrate the start of the Festival.
  • Become a Volunteer! The Dublin Irish Festival wouldn’t be possible without a team of dedicated volunteers needed to roll out the “green” carpet.
