ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Newport Group, a national provider of retirement and executive benefit plans, announced that it has appointed Patrick Labriola as Regional Director, covering the Northwestern United States.
Mr. Labriola will develop business relationships and identify market opportunities to promote Newport's retirement plan recordkeeping and administration services to third-party intermediaries. He will report to Dennis Sain, Newport's Senior Vice President, Retirement Services.

Mr. Labriola has nearly 20 years of experience in the retirement services industry. Most recently, he was vice president, institutional sales with Fifth Third Bank. Prior to joining Fifth Third, he spent more than 12 years with Fidelity Investments, most recently as vice president, institutional sales and relationship management, where he was responsible for new business development and client relationship management. He has also held positions with such organizations as Zacks Investment Research and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Labriola earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois, and his master’s degree in finance from DePaul University. He has earned his FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations.
