SavedPlus Announces Partnership with United Way Silicon Valley

Save and Donate Program Promotes Local Charitable Contributions

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--()--SavedPlus, Inc. today announced that they entered into an agreement with United Way Silicon Valley (UWSV), a nonprofit organization, to offer a customized option for its unique automatic savings tool - SavedPlus. The new option will allow those who want to help local community save and donate small sums of money automatically, every time they make a purchase or buy something.

"Our partnership with UWSV is a cornerstone initiative that we hope will help reach other people not currently engaged, and offer them a unique way to help their local community," said SavedPlus founder Paul Sorokin.

"Last year when we launched the beta version of our automatic savings application, our first users challenged us to create a version that would also allow a portion of automatically saved money to be donated to local charities. We took this challenge to heart and now our customers can decide how much they want to save with every transaction, and choose United Way as the recipient of their savings goal," said Paul Sorokin. "Once a specified level of savings is reached, the SavedPlus application will initiate a transfer of all or a portion of money saved to UWSV's donation account. Customers may either set a donation amount manually or select an automatic split option,” added Sorokin.

"There are large disparities among Silicon Valley residents in the areas of income, education and health. Some residents are prospering, while others are barely making ends meet. One of the organizations’ key objectives is to increase financial stability of local individuals and families. That said we welcome new innovative ways that help individuals and families manage their budgets, save money, and in turn, give back to the community," said Kim Reeves, Sr. Vice President of United Way Silicon Valley. "We are looking forward to enhancing the engagement of our existing donors and attracting new local contributions with this software application."

SavedPlus is committed to help people build up savings, pay off credit card debt or make a donation. Their personal finance app adds money to user’s bank account automatically, every time they make a purchase or buy something.
