Vitech Announces GENESYS™ 2.0 MBSE Solution

New Diagrams, Robust Representations & Expanded Reporting Allow Engineers to Perform Model-Based Systems Engineering at ‘Think Speed’

BLACKSBURG, Va.--()--Government, mil-aero, and commercial systems engineers may now benefit from Vitech Corporation’s GENESYS™ 2.0 solution launched today. An enrichment of its existing enterprise-wide system solution (software, services, training and support) for complex engineering problems, GENESYS™ 2.0 is a faster, more powerful MBSE option that still uses the proven STRATA™ approach.

“This new version of GENESYS,” said Vitech president David Long, “offers an enhanced ability to build diagrams on the fly, as fast as the engineer can think. Whether working alone at your office or collaboratively in a conference room, you can create rich representations with real underlying models as easily as you draw on a whiteboard. GENESYS 2.0 incorporates a wide range of new engineering representations, from traditional N2 diagrams to highlight system interfaces to additional SysML representations to help round out our support for this critical industry standard. The combination yields a rich toolbox of representations for analysis and communication, all integrated through a powerful modeling framework that’s as easy to use as Microsoft Visio. Engineers no longer need to choose simple diagrams or powerful models. GENESYS 2.0 provides both, seamlessly, allowing engineers to operate at ‘think speed.’”

In addition to think-speed diagramming capabilities, GENESYS 2.0 provides expanded reporting, including System Description Documentation (SDD), System Segment Specification (SSS), and all DoDAF output compliance reports.

“The reporting framework that was already easy to build and customize,” continued Long, “is now even easier to exploit with a rich, custom reporting toolbox and many examples to build upon.”
