NEW YORK--()--Levo League, the leading social network dedicated to helping Gen Y women build connections to elevate their careers, announced Warren Buffett as a mentor during a live Office Hours session broadcast from Berkshire Hathaway on Tuesday, May 7, at 11:00 a.m. PT / 2:00 p.m. ET. The video Q&A is available for viewing at levoleague.com/office-hours/warren-buffett.

Mr. Buffett advised Gen Y to “find your passion” in his live chat on Levo League. “Never give up searching for the job that you’re passionate about. Try to find the job you’d have if you were independently rich. Forget about the pay. When you’re associating with the people that you love, doing what you love, it doesn’t get any better than that.” He continued to reinforce his stance as an advocate for women’s advancement. “Women have every potential that men do. No one should hold themselves back. The future is terrific.”

This discussion marked not only Mr. Buffett’s dedication to helping women, but also dedication to Gen Y as a whole. Mr. Buffett is making strides to speak to Gen Y through his just-released social media presence on Twitter, and on Levo League with his mentorship profile. Levo League users can ask Mr. Buffett a question on his mentor profile through an Ask A Question functionality. A selection of the first questions submitted were answered during the live Q&A discussion, and Mr. Buffett will continue to answer questions through his profile on a weekly basis.

"Warren Buffett believes in Gen Y women, and we are honored that he is using Levo League’s mentorship platform as an outlet for democratizing mentorship and providing women with the support needed to elevate their careers,” says Caroline Ghosn, CEO and Co-founder of Levo League.
