SOMERSET, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SHI International Corp., one of North America's top 20 largest IT solutions providers, recorded revenue of $1 billion for the first quarter of 2013, a 15.5 percent increase year over year and its highest first quarter revenue total ever. This is the third consecutive year in which SHI set a revenue record for the first quarter.
In addition, for the first quarter of 2013, SHI’s enterprise and public sector grew by 9.2 percent over the same period last year, and the corporate sector grew by 36.7 percent year over year. First quarter revenue also grew for SHI’s Canada, U.K., and France divisions.

SHI’s growing networking and data center business was fueled by its network of partners. SHI’s Cisco Gold certification continued to bolster its networking offering, and partnerships for advanced solutions and data centers blossomed. SHI partnered with NetApp and EMC in delivering storage, data protection, data management, and virtual infrastructure solutions. Along with Cisco, long-term partners Microsoft, Dell, HP, and VMware rounded out SHI’s top five partners in the first quarter and also contributed significantly to the company’s first quarter growth.
