Dr. Helen Sanders, VP Technical Business Development, SAGE Electrochromics, the world’s leading manufacturer of electronically tintable glass, will co-present with Dr. Pekka Hakkarainen, Vice President, Lutron Electronics, a leader in innovative light control solutions.

 

WHAT:

Dr. Sanders and Dr. Hakkarainen will present on “Integrated Fenestration & Lighting Systems: How technology & building codes shape the future.” The session will focus on recent advancements in technology, DOE initiatives, and building standards and codes to recommend a future vision of commercial building design. The building envelope is the cornerstone of a high performance design. To achieve optimum energy performance and comfort, the facade design must be integrated into interior as well as lighting designs, and be actively controlled to respond to changing exterior conditions and occupant needs.
