STOCKHOLM--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Seamless, listed on Nasdaq OMX, is now rolling out a solution that will enable users to use NFC technology (Near-Field Communication) when they make SEQR payments using a mobile telephone. The new solution – which will start to appear in shops in the next few days – is made possible by incorporating a thin, NFC-supporting RFID circuit in the sticker on the checkout terminal. The SEQR app will be updated in May, after which users paying with SEQR will be able to use NFC technology.
In a very short time, the Seamless payment solution for mobile telephones – SEQR – has become established as the leading system in Sweden. Retailers have adopted the payment solution because it enables them to by-pass the high charges of the card companies. The system is also very fast, cheap to introduce, and very secure.

Making payments via a mobile phone using SEQR is a very simple and secure procedure. All the customer needs to do is use the SEQR app to scan a QR code at the checkout terminal or use the NFC reader on the mobile, and then approve the transaction by entering their PIN. Another advantage is that the customer receives an immediate digital receipt for each purchase in their mobile phone.
