Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 6 March 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,050,000 (one million and fifty thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 358.5987 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 361.6 pence and 355.6 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 3,610,000 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,196,093,299 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
