BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Baltimore Technology Park, Maryland’s premier colocation data center located in downtown Baltimore, announced today that it has partnered with Comcast Corporation, a global media and technology company, to provide the data center with access to Comcast’s private, optical network and extensive fiber footprint.

The new relationship allows both Baltimore Technology Park and Comcast Business Services to continue to expand their connections in the region. Existing customers of Baltimore Technology Park will now be able to connect with a state-of-the-art data center via Comcast’s network, which provides an entirely new level of high-performance, reliable and secure Internet connectivity that is significantly faster than T1 lines, Frame Relay, ATM and dedicated lines.
