Tata Global Beverages Standardizes Worldwide Brand on Sitefinity CMS, by Telerik

Faced with mounting costs and user dissatisfaction, Tata Global Beverages needed a flexible, easy-to-use content platform that could also deliver project savings. The company needed 17 sites, localized in multiple languages to showcase its popular Tetley brand.

After initially working to adapt Microsoft SharePoint, the company quickly realized it needed a content management system (CMS) that was cost-effective, flexible and easy-to-use. Communisis introduced Sitefinity CMS as part of its work developing the site for Tetley, on behalf of the company’s digital agency.

The platform naturally supports high developer productivity and its infrastructure requirements are modest compared to other CMS offerings. Moreover, Sitefinity is user-friendly, making it an inviting work environment for non-technical content authors.

The entire project was completed in just six months with a savings of more than £250,000—hosting costs alone went from £67,000 to £10,000 annually.
