SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Family Business Association (FBA) (www.myfba.org) announced today that the organization’s first annual Family Business Day and Legislative Conference will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. The day-long event will include visits to key lawmakers, a panel of family business leaders discussing how they cope with legislative and regulatory mandates as well as keynote addresses by syndicated political columnist, Dan Walters, and Kish Rajan, director of the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development.
“FBA represents family businesses on public policy issues and the first annual Family Business Day and Legislative Conference is the perfect opportunity for family business leaders to come together and learn about how public policy is developed at the state level,” said David Lucchetti, FBA Chairman and President and CEO of Pacific Coast Building Products. “This will give family business owners, leaders and associates the opportunity to meet some of California’s legislators and representatives from the Governor’s office as well as hear from and connect with other family business leaders.”

The program starts at 10:00 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento and includes a full day of speakers, panel participants from the California State Legislature and prominent family business owners, visits with legislators, and concludes with a legislative reception in the Esquire Plaza Lobby.
