Quadrant Homes Partners with Weyerhaeuser, World Vision in Second National Diaper Drive for Babies in Need

BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Recognizing a growing need in the community, Quadrant Homes has partnered with Weyerhaeuser and World Vision in a national diaper drive to gather and donate diapers for babies in need across the U.S. and Canada. One third of American families struggle with the high cost of an adequate supply of diapers for their child (6-10 diapers per day), and while assistance programs help provide nutrition, many do not offer diapers as part of their service. Last year’s inaugural drive secured over 400,000 diapers for North American families.

Diaper Drive Helps Needy American Families

From now through March 8, area residents are invited to drop off their donation of unopened disposable diaper packages at the Quadrant Homes Design Studio in Bellevue, or any of the Quadrant Homes Community Sales Offices throughout the Puget Sound region. In return, Quadrant will match the donation up to 5,000 diapers. All donations gathered at these sites, along with Quadrant’s matching diaper drive contribution, will be distributed through World Vision’s storehouses across the country to help families most in need.
