Airlite Plastics Co. to switch from a combination of custom built and off the shelf software systems for the single-source, extended ERP software solution from IQMS

PASO ROBLES, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IQMS, a manufacturing ERP software and MES developer with an ongoing, proactive commitment to its product and relationships, today announced that Airlite Plastics Co. has selected IQMS due to its solid reputation for customer-driven service and manufacturing infrastructure to support Airlite’s future growth. A privately-held, family owned company headquartered in Omaha, Neb. for more than 60 years, Airlite Plastics and its 850 highly skilled employees manufacture containers and lids for food packaging, drink cups and lids, polystyrene coolers, insulated concrete form (ICF) blocks, profile and sheet extrusion and other custom plastic products.

Airlite Plastics’ legacy software was a combination of commercial and custom built applications that were creating challenges. Difficulties supporting custom built applications and integrating many different versions of the software encouraged Airlite Plastics to seek out an ERP system that specialized in manufacturing and could support all of its separate business divisions and business lines.
