Fitch: Eaton Vance Floating-Rate Income Trust APS Paid in Full

NEW YORK--()--Fitch Ratings notes that all series of Auction Preferred Shares (APS) issued by Eaton Vance Floating-Rate Income Trust (NYSE: EFT), a closed-end management investment company sponsored and managed by Eaton Vance Management, are paid in full as of Jan 04, 2013.

EFT utilized net proceeds from its recent issuance of variable rate term preferred shares (VRTP) to facilitate the redemption. The fund's leverage amount is substantially unchanged from prior to the VRTP issuance and the APS redemption.

EFT is a diversified, closed-end management investment company registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended and commenced operations in June 2004.

Eaton Vance Management, a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp., acts as the investment adviser to the fund. As of Oct. 31, 2012 Eaton Vance Corp. and affiliates managed approximately $199.5 billion in assets.
