Hood & Strong Promotes Jonathan Willyerd, Amy Boehm and Darlene Hall to Directors

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hood & Strong LLP, a leading Bay Area accounting and business consulting firm, is pleased to announce the promotions of Jonathan Willyerd, Amy Boehm and Darlene Hall to directors.

Jonathan Willyerd has been promoted to Audit Director. Willyerd has been overseeing audit engagements of varying sizes for over a decade on behalf of clients in a diverse range of industries that include: health and welfare, social services, museums, membership associations and construction. He has earned accolades for his thoroughness, keen management advice and expertise in the areas of Single Audits. His clients commend his ongoing communications that keep them updated on audit processes year-round. Willyerd graduated from California State University, Hayward with a B.S. in business administration and a concentration in accounting. He currently resides in Fremont.

Amy Boehm has been promoted to Tax Director. Boehm has over 16 years of experience in public accounting, providing tax and accounting services to individuals, partnerships, corporations and not-for-profit organizations. She has worked closely with many privately owned businesses, advising and executing accounting and tax services. Boehm graduated from the University of Hawaii with a B.B.A. in accounting and Golden Gate University with an M.S. in taxation. She currently resides in South San Francisco.

Darlene Hall has been promoted to Tax Director. With more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, Hall works with clients in a broad range of entity types and industries to provide tax solutions through planning, consulting and compliance. Hall has provided consulting and compliance services to start-ups, corporations, pass-through entities and individuals. She has experience working with clients in a range of industries including technology and software, professional services and real estate. Hall graduated from San Jose State University with a B.S. in business administration and a concentration in accounting. She currently resides in Morgan Hill.
