California Pizza Kitchen Launches Seasonal Menu Items

New Brussels + Bacon Pizza and New Roasted Beets with Whipped Goat Cheese Salad

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), the authority on California-style pizza and creator of the Original BBQ Chicken Pizza, today announced the launch of two new seasonal menu items that embrace World Flavors – California style. The Brussels + Bacon Pizza and Roasted Beets with Whipped Goat Cheese Salad small plate will be available in all California Pizza Kitchen locations through the end of March.

The Brussels + Bacon Pizza is topped with sweet caramelized onions, Nueske’s applewood smoked bacon, Romano and creamy goat cheese with black pepper. It contains Brussels sprouts that have been hand-separated, tossed in olive oil and charred to give a crispy and sweet texture that complements the other ingredients. Guests are encouraged to try this new pizza with a glass of Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc, as it incorporates fresh, seasonal items into a mouth-watering creation. All California Pizza Kitchen pizzas are made-to-order and guests can choose from traditional, thin or whole grain crust.

The Roasted Beets with Whipped Goat Cheese Salad is served as a small plate and includes a selection of colorful, seasonal beets on a bed of red watercress, tossed with house-made lemon vinaigrette and adorned with California pistachios. Red watercress is renowned for its antioxidant content and has more calcium than milk, more vitamin C than an orange, and more iron than spinach (by weight). This healthy option pairs well with Santa Margherita Pinto Grigio and combines seasonal vegetables to create a salad that is anything but ordinary.

The company is also offering a $30 Valentine’s Day menu for two from Thursday, February 14 – Sunday, February 17 that includes an appetizer, two entrees and a dessert.
