Alliant Staffing Acquires Perioperative Nurses, Inc. (PNI)

Alliant’s Third Acquisition in Four Years Solidifies Its Position as National Market Leader in Nurse Staffing

BETHESDA, Md.--()--Effective immediately, Alliant Staffing has acquired Perioperative Nurses, Inc. (PNI) to create the most skilled pool of nurses to serve hospitals and surgical centers throughout the United States. This is Alliant’s third acquisition in four years, and continues to strengthen its position as the market leader in per diem and travel nurse staffing.

Marvin H. Rabovsky, president, Alliant Staffing, said that specialty nurses are in critical demand nationwide, and that this latest acquisition increases the company’s footprint and coverage areas. “The stellar employees of PNI elevate the breadth and depth of our skills database, and allow us to serve another important market with the most experienced and talented healthcare workers available,” explained Rabovsky. With the acquisition of PNI’s Dallas presence, Alliant now has offices in the Chicago, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Cleveland markets, in addition to a national travel division.

PNI, who has been searching for a corporate staffing partner with a national presence, indicated that there is a high immediate demand for operating room, PACU, and ICU nurses around the country. The acquisition was well-timed and a strategically sound business decision for both parties. Explained PNI Founder/President Claudia Novak, who will continue to manage operations in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex, “We were very selective and found a company equally dedicated to quality and integrity. We are looking forward to focusing on our clients rather than back office operations. Alliant brings us not only strong operations but an excellent credentialing team.”
