Thinkwell Powers Courses for College Credit at StraighterLine.com

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--StraighterLine (www.straighterline.com) and Thinkwell (www.thinkwell.com) are pleased to announce a new partnership to create a series of freshman- and sophomore-level college courses that will be offered at StraighterLine based on Thinkwell’s award-winning content.

Each course will include Thinkwell’s popular video series and a unique learning experience. Students who take and pass each course offered by StraighterLine will be eligible to earn real college transfer credit at potentially 1,800 colleges and universities.

The new StraighterLine-Thinkwell courses include:

• College Algebra
• Precalculus
• General Physics I
• General Biology
• General Chemistry
• Public Speaking

New courses will be rolled out over the next few months based on customer demand.

Thinkwell courses appeal to students of any age who aspire not only to learn college-level subjects in a compelling, convenient, and cost-effective way, but who also wish to obtain credit that can be transferred to any one of StraighterLine’s partner colleges (which are covered by the StraighterLine Credit Transfer Guarantee). Because each course has been reviewed and recommended for credit by the American Council on Education’s Credit Recommendation Service, more than 1,800 colleges and universities who are members of ACE CREDIT are eligible to award credit.
