Peter S. Rummell to Serve as Keynote Speaker for Florida Venture Forum’s 2013 Florida Venture Capital Conference

TAMPA & MIAMI, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Florida Venture Forum (http://www.floridaventureforum.org) announced today that Peter S. Rummell will serve as keynote speaker at the 22^nd annual Florida Venture Capital Conference, to be held at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Golf Club in Ponte Vedra, FL on January 31 – February 1, 2013. Rummell will speak on the topic of creativity in business and managing the creative process in a fast growing company. A Jacksonville resident, Rummell has served in several leadership and CEO posts, including as president of Disney Development Company, The Walt Disney Company’s non-theme park development company, and Walt Disney Imagineering, the company’s design and creative division responsible for theme park development. He has also served as chairman and chief executive officer of The St. Joe Company, and as chief executive officer of Nicklaus Companies, founded by golf legend Jack Nicklaus.
