Belden Completes the Sale of Its Consumer Electronics Assets in China

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Belden Inc. (NYSE: BDC), a global leader in signal transmission solutions for mission-critical applications, today announced that it completed the sale of its consumer electronics assets in China to Shenzhen Woer Heat-Shrinkable Material Co., Ltd. for consideration of approximately $43.3 million.

This announcement has no impact on the 2013 guidance provided at the company’s Investor and Analyst Day event on December 11, 2012, which contemplated the closure of this transaction.
