NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS OF DB X-TRACKERS DB HEDGE FUND INDEX ETF

(the “Sub-Fund”)

Dear Shareholders,

We hereby inform you that, from, but excluding, 31 December 2012, the dbX-THF Equity Market Neutral Index will cease to be calculated and published by its index sponsor. Currently the dbX-THF Equity Market Neutral Index is a component of the db Hedge Fund Index, the reference index of the Sub-Fund. Pursuant to the rules governing the calculation of the db Hedge Fund Index, the dbX-THF Equity Market Neutral Index will be removed as a component of the db Hedge Fund Index from, but excluding, 31 December 2012.

Copies of the revised prospectus of the Company dated December 2012 reflecting the above may be obtained on request from the registered office of the Company or at the offices of foreign representatives.
