WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Board of Directors of Bank of Georgetown, a leading community bank chartered in Washington, D.C., today announced it has unanimously elected Bank President and CEO Michael Fitzgerald as Chairman. Fitzgerald will retain his current title and role as President and CEO.

The Board of Directors made the decision during its regular meeting held December 20 in Georgetown. Former Bank Chairman, Curtin Winsor III, passed away suddenly last week.
