Former Global General Counsel of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu to Serve as Managing Director and General Counsel to UnitedLex

UnitedLex Strengthens Management Team with Appointment of New Senior Executive

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--UnitedLex, a global full-service provider of technology powered legal and business solutions, today announced the appointment of Joseph J. Lambert as Managing Director and General Counsel. He will also serve ex-officio on UnitedLex's Board of Directors.

Joe has over 25 years of global legal experience spanning academia, law firm practice, and, for almost 15 years as General Counsel of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Joe started, developed, and led the global Deloitte Office of General Counsel, with responsibility for all the legal issues facing Deloitte on a global basis, including acquisitions and transactions, global governance and structural matters, intellectual property and brand protection, global contracting, technology infrastructure, regulatory matters, and, critically, large, complex cross-border litigation. Joe was a member of the Deloitte Global Management Committee, and served as an advisor to its global Board of Directors.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Joe practiced law at Dewey Ballantine, and he holds LLM and PhD degrees from Cambridge University, where he also served as a Research Scholar.
