Fitch Affirms and Withdraws CMG Mortgage Insurance Company's IFS Rating

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fitch Ratings has affirmed and withdrawn the 'BBB-' Insurer Financial Strength rating of CMG Mortgage Insurance Company (CMG MI). The rating had a Negative Rating Outlook at the time of withdrawal.

The affirmation is primarily based on the quality of CMG MI's insured portfolio, which has shown stronger credit performance than most mortgage insurers.

Fitch has withdrawn the rating as it is deemed to be no longer relevant to the agency's coverage.
