The event, hosted by Reconnaissance International, is to be held November 27-29, 2012, in Washington, D.C.

The presentation, entitled “Best Practices and Lessons Learned from Deploying a Successful Traceability Program in the Consumer Goods Industry,” will help address the knowledge gap that exists when it comes to making a track and trace program operationally successful. While the pharmaceutical industry is weighing various options for the adoption of industry-wide traceability programs, L’Oreal USA and Authentix have proven experience in the implementation of an item-level traceability program to support Quality Assurance efforts.

In this presentation, Chris Lyden, Senior Director Brand Equity Protection of L’Oreal USA and Majid Fazeli, VP Authentication Serialization of Authentix, will share their results and lessons they have learned from the successful implementation of a large-scale, commercial traceability program in the consumer goods market.
