NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AOL Inc. today announced that Jack Bamberger has been named Head of Agency and Industry Relations. He will also drive AOL’s industry relationships with the 4A’s, IAB, AAF, ANA; and lead AOL’s Digital Content NewFront. Bamberger, who will be based in New York, will report to Jim Norton, Senior Vice President, AOL Advertising.
“With over 25 years of experience, Jack is an industry leader and skilled in cultivating long-term industry, marketing and agency relationships, and delivering high value to clients,” said Norton. “Jack will be an invaluable addition to the advertising leadership team and play a pivotal role in continuing to grow AOL’s already well-established agency team.”
“It’s a very exciting time to join AOL,” said Bamberger. “The opportunity fits well with my skillset having been on the agency and media owner side, at startups, and at major media companies. I look forward to working with the team and our clients, and leveraging the extraordinary portfolio of highly engaged AOL brands in creating solutions that help our clients meet their business objectives.”
Bamberger joins the AOL team from MEC where he was President of Digital in North America. He led MEC’s digital practice and was responsible for the agency’s offerings across digital, social, search, mobile and emerging platforms.
Prior to joining MEC, Bamberger was at Dentsu America where he was Chief Consumer Engagement Officer and set up the digital and social media practice in the U.S. for the agency.
